Hello again my Quilty Friends!
This months Quilt Block Mania theme is Desert. I was so jazzed when I heard what this months theme was. Being born and raised in Southern California, this reminded me a lot of my childhood. We had many cacti and succulents in our gardens. They're low maintenance and great for Xeriscaping.
One of my favorite Cacti is the Prickly Pear cactus. The beautiful flowers and pear paw fruits give the desert greens such a vibrant punch of color and contrast. They're a treat to see in full bloom.
